Shopping for the First Time?
Placing an order with BooksforChrist.com is quick and easy. New Customers can create an account and order at the same time. With your new account you'll be able you to:
- Shop and check out faster on your next visit
- Check your order status online
- Obtain a history of items you´ve purchased
- Receive updates on special offers, events, and new products and services
1. Add Items to Your Cart
Just locate an item you'd like to purchase and click the "Add to Cart" button. Clicking this button places the item in your Cart.
2. View Entire Cart
You do not have to view your entire Cart before you check out, but it's a great place to look over your order. The Cart displays all the items you have selected and lets you make adjustments. You can increase or reduce the number of copies you'd like to buy or completely remove items from your Cart. Once you're comfortable with the items in your Cart, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button
3. Proceed to Checkout
All customers are taken to our Sign In page. If you don't have an account yet, click the "Continue" button under New Customers and we'll let you create an account as you check out. If you aren't interested in creating a membership, we also allow for customers to make purchases and create an account without a membership.
4. Provide Shipping Details
We´ll ask you to provide your email address (so we can send you updates on the status of your order) and a shipping address for the order you are placing. Once you enter this information, click "Continue." If you have items with different stock availabilities, you can choose to ship your items together or when they become available (extra cost).
5. Choose a Payment Method
Here you select your payment method. If your billing address is different from the shipping address you selected, you'll be asked to enter it now. As of now, we are currently accepting MasterCard and Visa only.
6. Reviewing and Placing Your Order
On the Review page you´ll find a summary of your order, including the final cost. Before you submit your order, you'll also have the chance to change any of the shipping or payment information you´ve entered thus far. When you are ready, click "Place My Order" to complete the ordering process. Here, you will see your order number which is used to confirm that your order has been placed.
Item Availability
The availability estimate on each item's product detail page refers to how long it will take us to acquire, package and ship the item after you place your order.
Items listed as "In Stock" are ready to ship from our warehouse within 1-2 business; other items need to be ordered from our suppliers. For more information about our availability estimates, please refer to the list below.
The availability estimate does not include the time your order will take to reach you once we ship it. Shipping time depends upon the shipping option you choose.
The following is a list of the several types of availability estimates found at our store:
- In Stock: The item is on hand in our fulfillment center or at a nearby distributor, and we expect to be able to prepare this item for shipment within a few hours to a few days (depending on the shipment method you choose).
- Usually ships in 4-7 days: The item is available from a distributor and we expect to receive it and ship it to you within 4 to 7 days of your order.
- Out of Stock. Usually ships in 12-14 days: The item is out of stock from a distributor and we expect to receive it and ship it to you within 12 to 14 days of your order.
- Back order. Usually ships in 3-5 weeks: The item is back ordered from a distributor and we expect to receive it and ship it to you within 3 to 5 weeks of your order.
- Print on Demand. Usually ships in 1-2 months: The item will be re-printed on demand and we expect to receive it and ship it to you within 1 to 2 months of your order.
- Not yet published/released: The latest release date information that we have for the item will be on its product detail page. If you want to pre-order the item, we will ship it to you once the release date passes and the item is made available to us for shipment. These items can delay the shipment of other items in the order if you select the option to "Group my order into one shipment."
- Currently Unavailable: This item is currently not available for ordering, and we don't know when or if this item will be in stock again.
Despite our best efforts, our availability estimates may be incorrect on a few occasions and we will inform you by e-mail if the availability of the items in your order changes.
Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. We do not have a price-matching policy at this time, and we cannot offer additional discounts on large orders of a single title or on large orders of many individual titles.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue are mispriced.
- If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount
- If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we--at our discretion--will either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Please note that we do not charge your credit card until your order enters the shipping process.
Reviewing & Changing Your Orders
You can review the status of any order you've placed by logging into your profile on our homepage. For orders that have yet to ship, you'll be able to review the order total, shipping address, and item availability. For orders that have been shipped already, you can confirm the date and method of shipment, and a tracking number, if applicable.
If you want to combine orders or add items to an order, please contact customer service at customers@booksforchrist.com. Please note that you can make changes only to orders that have not entered the shipping process.
